Today in the U.S.A various ethnic group live. The effect is that diversity restaurants are there. One of those is Mexican restaurant. Especially, the restaurant “Nuevo Leon” is famous Mexican grill in Chicago. When I first got the assignment, I was happy because eating is the best happier for me. However, I did not have idea which restaurant is better for the assignment. When I was thinking, I saw my classmates as Josabate, Nina and Denies and I decided to go to Mexican grill.

I first researched where the most popular Mexican grill is in Chicago. When I was searching, I thought the restaurant “Nuevo Leon”, and I called my friend, James to go there.

When I visited the restaurant, there were many people and I waited 10 minutes for getting the table. During waiting for that, I looked around the design of restaurant. The design was influenced by a traditional Mexican culture. There were various Mexican symbols and paintings. After 10 minutes, James and I got a table and saw the menu to order food. There were some 30 types of food, so we got recommendation from waiter and started to order food such as Carne Asada, Chile Rellenos, Tacos and Enchiladas.

 “This restaurant is a good from so far. However, taste is the best important to be a good restaurant.” I said. That is to say, for waiting for food, I was imagining tastes of food with expectation.   

When waiter put food on the table, those looked like animal farm because there were diversity meat such as beef, pork and chicken. I tried to eat those food, and I felt happy like to be in heaven because those food were really delicious. Especially, Chile Rellenos looked like Korean Bulgogi and the taste also was similar with Bulgogi. I thought it might be proved that we were in the world.

Anyway, James and I ate all of those, and looked like two pigs. After eating food, we looked at the check, and we were surprised for cheap price. It just was 84 dollars.  

cosmos / ego

Have you ever had a hard time for living in your life? Most people have had a hard time in their life. I also have had a hard time in my life, and I sometimes describe my mind such as cosmos at that time. The cosmos has various dark colors, and looks like an uncompleted state. That is to say, when someone see that picture, he or she will feel the chaos around him or her. I also felt the chaos around me when I had a hard time. However, one day the cosmos will make a planet in the chaos. In this way, people also will make completed mind in the hard time, and they call it an ego.   

Tragic Ending

The word “peace” is a most ideal word. Some 60 years ago, one country waged war against North Korea for the territories. After war, people who live in the country wanted to keep a peace. The country is South Korea, and also it is my country. People who are from other countries do not understand about a tragic history in Korea. My grandfather was solider, and he entered the war. Before passing away, he told us about the war, and he thought after year of the war, the two countries (South Korea, and North Korea) would live together in peace. However, it did not take long to keep the peace. Recently, many Korean people have given up sometimes they wasted their time waiting for something that is never going to happen. However, I hope that one day, my country will be portrayed as a nation of peace.

        The saying “The pen is mightier than the sword” shows representative writing feature. I know that writing is hard, and it is hard for us to know whether we improve writing skill or not. However, if I can write a good essay, it can be a strong weapon. because writing has a power to change people's mind.

         Writing a good essay needs various conditions such as a structure, word choice and grammar. However, most important is idea. If idea is not good, many people will not read the essay. Even though, the fact that the essay has a perfect grammar, and structure. We cannot emphasize the importance of idea in the essay too much.

I thought it was big store like Walgreen, jewel and home Depot before coming there. However, my prediction was totally off the mark. There were many stores to sell their special productions. When I saw the markets, I reminded of my countries markets. Many Korean markets are on the street, and the productions is cheap more than big stores. according to my teacher, farmer’s market does not have cheap productions . However, the market is like Korean market, is on the streets.  

I wanted to buy spaghetti sources to make a good pasta because general pasta sources which sell in big store are not good taste. I looked around the market to find that but I could not find it. Instead of buying source, I ate cheese and hotdog. They told me the sausage, is in hotdog was made by themselves in person. When I heard the answer, I thought that why the hotdog is expensive.

The song is that one women lost her emotion about love, and it expresses her emotion by comparing with the word “last chance.” I like the song to express the moment of loneness, and the video describes exactly about meaning of the song. When I heard the song, I felt a sadness, and a heavy mood because i reminded of my army life. Korean army was really hard.i was feeling of sadness in army. i missed many friends and family for the time. The time was like i was in deep water.
